Lance Ball is a native of Madison, FL. He began his public service by enlisting into the Marine Corps Reserves where he served as a tank crewman and Humvee driver. Lance is a graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry. After college Lance accepted a position with the Florida Department of Revenue. In 2013 Lance took a position with the Office of Financial Regulation. With the Office of Financial Regulation, Lance worked with the Investment Advisor staff and reviewed the applications of investment advisor firms and branches with less than 100 million in assets who wanted to register for business in Florida. Recently, Lance served as the Administrator of the Dealer License Section with the Florida Department of Highway Safety Motor Vehicles. In this position, Lance managed all manufacturers, importers, and distributors of motor vehicles licensed in Florida.
Lance serves faithfully and with great enthusiasm in his local church, Life Changers COGIC, under the leadership of Pastors Gerald & Judy Mandrell as an ordained Deacon, Professional Development Team Member and as a staff member of the Media Ministry. He serves as The Director of Finance in Kingdom Builders District, under the leadership of Superintendent Gerald Mandrell. As a member of the Professional Development Team, Lance has taught several seminars on the importance of professionalism in the workplace, financial fitness, and the importance of giving.
Lance believes that greatness is a matter of conscious choice and anyone that chooses to be great on a daily basis will never live in mediocrity. When not working, Lance enjoys visiting the gym with his wife, Khalilah. Lance and Khalilah celebrated their three-year anniversary on August 2nd. They have one child named Ian.
